Winter 2025: College Board Bluebook Update

Parents of Class of 2026 and Class of 2027 students who may be prepping for the SAT should know and share:

a MUCH needed update to BlueBook

A brand-new Practice Test 7, and Practice Tests 8-10 which will include a mix of new questions and select questions from the former Practice Tests 1-3.

Full-Length Digital Practice Tests on Bluebook

This note from the College Board has added a full new practice test 7, along with tests 8, 9, and 10 which are a blend of old questions from tests 1,2, 3 and newly written ones

How should students use the tests?

As always, I suggest saving the newest tests for LAST because it pays to use the “older” tests at first to be accustomed to pacing and learning how to answer the different types of questions.

I would advise doing the tests in this order:

  • Tests 4-6
  • Tests 8-10

I would save Test 7 (the only fully “new” test) for the last full dress rehearsal no later than a week before the actual exam.

If you have any further questions about how to best #RefineAndAlign your approach to taking the SAT, or any test, please contact me and of course, anyone may send referrals my way.
